First week in Boisbuchet

First week of Boisbuchet....
excited and also a bit tired.
cuz i wasn't really finished my finals yet, still have one more work need to be sent to pro.
so it was like work mix with finals....which is kinda bad

the first week in here
Not really know how everything going on here
so it was kinda bumpy life during first few days of work
But besides work, everything went perfect.
Have met a few people who are fabulous!!
Two dutch designers, Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn.
They were working for the exhibition in Cheateu. (Haven't got time to visit yet....thx god that it would open the whole summer...so i can take my time then =P But i should remember that!!)
And a few others from Spain and France, such as Val, Coco, Clara, Charlotte, Amandine...etc.

Not really sure why...
but the first few days, I was a bit melancholy.
I have kept talking myself that I should savor the time here, I should make the fullest memory here.
However, I don't know what is the problem...probably is a bit too tired...
or probably...na....don't wanna guess at all
or maybe it is just because such a sunny weather makes me blue.....
or probably is because I missed half of the games in FIFA.....gr....
(I definitely gonna watch the them after getting back to Taiwan!!)

Besides the lost feeling.....everything went out fine....the scenery is beautiful here....I hope I can have more time taking more picture here.....

Cheateu
No one lives in there at all....there is a exhibition about light in there right now. I passed the castle everyday and every night.
The first few times watching it, I felt like getting back to the time period of "Pride and Prejudice"
I felt like someone would ride a horse or carriage passed over me by the road...
I have been inside the building (sorry, that I didn't take any picture inside, I didn't have my camera with me that time, I'll put them on some other time)
Feeling a bit melancholy inside the Cheateu, it isn't what you seen as the outside, it has been torn broken inside the building. While inside of it, I could imagine how people live in there during the pass time. I wonder would they ever notice that it would become like what it is now while having ball inside the cheateu.
Everyone has gone, the guests of the cheateu, the master of the cheateu, the military...
the only thing left is the building....It has stood here watching all the people passed away, watching the history silently...

This is the night view of it.....a bit spooky isn't it?! hah
I've tried my best not to shake...but apparently, the picture still....you know

This is a small hole that I always passed during back to staff house.
The first time I saw this, I thought it is the toad's home in "The Wind in The Willows"
There's a door and a street lamp!! Isn't just like a small entry for an animal's home??

continue.........

A Little Escape from Ordinary life- part one

If there is no love now, why not travel.

My little escape from ordinary life.
Destination: Boisbuchet, France

hah~ Doesn't look like a "little" escape, since I lived in Taiwan.

The trip begun as disaster.....
My plane is on June 26
However, I was still in my  finals. Handed in my 10 of sketches on same week Wed.
Moving all my stuff back home from dorm on Thu, which I have been cleaning from the moment i woke up that day till theeish that afternoon, and got back home at seven in the night.
Moreover, busy in my finals again back home, which is a total disaster, cuz my family couldn't understand how  I could do the work without sleeping at all, which was also the first time they have seen me working my homework. We definitely got in fight of that.....which is stupid. I understood that they are worry about my health, but during that time, I was concerned more about my finals.
Finished the work and send them out in the noon of June 26 and used only three hours to pack all my luggage. It was crazy!!

After taking the plane, transferring, finally arrive to Poitiers, France.
I was nearly missed the station.....I popped out the train one station early =P
Thanks god, I didn't have the time take everything out from the train....popped right back

When I arrived Poitiers, I really had no idea, which way to go, or who I am looking for. I know there is someone gonna pick me up, just don't know who, and at where.
Especially my French is still in soooo basic baby level right now, which is not looking well....
However, everything went out just fine. Right after I got out from the train station, someone called my name.....

There are three people over there waiting, Tine, Val, and Regine....
My summer in France is finally started!!

I will write what happened soon.......
