The weight kept putting on the viewer along the beautiful scenery of the movie.
Sometime I just can't bare it. The weight on my chest is so heavy that I couldn't take any breath at all.
How come they wouldn't fight back? How come they wouldn't take revenge? How come they just accept the fate of letting people treat them like that and still feel "honorable"? How come they just give up their life while they could't bare it anymore in the surgery?
Should I say the education in Hailsham had done so well that all the students after listening the truth from Miss Lucy still not aware of the other choices in life could be.
The death of Ruth haunted me along the movie. I could still hear the alarm go off while her heart stop beating. However, the doctors showed no mercy, just kept doing what they were, which is taking the organ out from her. Then left her eyes open and the broken body on the cold surgery table. This is what normal people treat those students from Hailsham that they would never known it is like this.

Maybe it is because the original novel is Japanese. It's the culture in Asia. Not asking questions, not taking revenge. Asking why is rebellion action......

In the end of the movie, give the views and the main characters a hope of delaying the donation which could give them a bit more time to be together. However, it was taken away... And the only things they do is crying and angry. Not fighting back the fate. Not even trying to escape. I couldn't understand and never would. How could they just be like that when Miss Emily said " We took away your art because we thought it would reveal your souls. Or to put it more finely, we did it to prove you had souls at all." Why don't they just take off the stupid bracelet and run away to any place?
Somehow it just feel like what I always complain in here,Taiwan. Why don't people do any action? Why do students nowadays just accept what the society had told them what they are? Why don't they feel angry, and why even though they feel angry about it still acting like the comment to them by the society.

Overall, it is a beautiful movie. It's a beautiful bottle with bitter medicine in side.  Love the warm color that being shoot in the movie.
