Le Songe de Médée (on stage)

Opinion:
First of all, it took me a long while to actual writing this blog. Cuz there are a lot of information as you can see above. I admit I was a bit lazy for analyzing all of them and settled them down. For a very simple reason, I really love this documentary. And I couldn't let myself just sloppy writing some opinion without any information showing to you.
Back to the film, it's quite amazing that my friend, Sora, and I didn't figure out the movie is actually very long. Longer then the normal film, 2hr and 39 min. It isn't like most of the documentary, having narrator along the film. We just get to sneak a peek inside the world of ballet. We were like l'Opera de Paris itself, watching these dancers practice, and watching them shine on the stage. I love the gestures, the poses by those dancers. I wish to be one of them, which would only appear in dream of course. It does give some inspiration for my furniture deisgn. We will see how it going on for me then :)
My favorite star dancer are Agnès Letestu, Émilie Cozette. I really love Agnès during the practice of Paquita, I just couldn't take my eyes off her. Those poses... The dress floated along with her beautiful and elegant moves. It just made me tears a bit. I also like Émilie Cozette in Le Songe de Médée. I really love that choreography, the mixture of modern and classic. Bravo! Actually I love all of the dance choreographies they have chosen to shoot in the film. They all have their own very strong characters and spirits. Despite the dancing, the stages and the music that used in each choreography are all wondrous. Such as, I was amazed see the stage moving up during Romeo and Juliet by Sasha Waltz. The electric ray and the modern music mix with modern dancing in Genus are just thrilling!
I know for some people who love movies, probably didn't like it so much. However, I love it a lot!! :)) I hope you would enjoy it too!!!
